• Description
What is the immediate issue or problem?

Mobile signal is patchy in rural areas, we were wondering if there were any hacks to improving a mobile signal for voice and data that we could teach members of our community to implement.

This would be particularly useful for both educators and students, as it would allow them to access content and tools that could help with the teaching and learning process.

Obviously, the solution needs to be very cost-effective to implement, using recycled material if possible.

How long have we got to solve it?

It’s an ongoing problem.

What issues stand in the way of solving this problem?

There are solutions, like special antennas, but the costs are prohibitive. Any low cost solution to this issue would be widely accepted and adopted.

What kind of assets do you think we could use to solve the problem?

One thing we have a lot of is recyclable waste from everyday grocery items.

What has been tried and hasn’t worked or hasn’t completely solved the problem?

We haven’t tried anything yet.
